PAIS, Inc.

PAIS, Inc. Independent Service Coordination provides independent service coordination so that I/DD waiver participants and their families may receive service coordination services with no conflict of interest from service providers.  Our Service Coordination services are designed to ensure accessibility, accountability and continuity of supports and services.

What do we mean by conflict of interest?

Service Coordinators employed by the same agency that provides other support (direct care, etc.) services may be influenced by their employer to: not make referrals outside of their agency, recommend services and service amounts based on what the agency can provide, and/or discourage obtaining services from other agencies and service delivery models.

How is PAIS, Inc. different from other agencies?

PAIS, Inc. Service Coordination is licensed separately from its other offices that provide support services.  In order to remain conflict free, PAIS will not provide service coordination services for any Waiver participant that receives support services from our other PAIS offices.  In this way, PAIS Service Coordinators are able to assist families and waiver participants in achieving their dreams and goals without corruption from other interests agencies may serve.  With PAIS, Inc. Independent Service Coordination, the who, what, when and where of service provision is a person-centered process.

PAIS, Inc. Independent Service Coordination is accepting Title XIX Waiver referrals and providing assistance for application of Title XIX benefits.

We currently provide services for the following counties:

Boone, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Fayette, Greenbrier, Harrison, Jackson, Pleasants, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mason, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Putnam, Raleigh, Ritchie, Roane, Summers, Tyler, Wayne, Webster, Wirt, Wood and Wyoming counties.
